New York Public Library is a great source for business and industry information.

Follow these simple steps to use this free resources.

  1. Think of what specific industry or organization would you would like to look into, such as industry trends and industry forecasts.
  2. Go online to nypl.org/collections/articles-databases, click drop down box for subject and select “Business“. WVF recommends becoming familiar with First Research or IBISWorld.
  3. Before arriving feel free to call in to the library as there are peak use times and there is a limited number of computers set aside for business and industry research. It is best to arrive during a down period.
