Audreyco-founded a media agency from scratch with no clients and no office, just one partner, one computer and a dream—to build an agency where great ideas, great professionals and great clients would engage to create innovative communication strategies. On the heels of 9/11/2001, advertising veterans Audrey Siegel and Steve Farella not only shared this dream, but set about to make it a reality. That was TargetCast, which quickly outgrew its more humble beginnings, developing a blue-chip client list including TIAA-CREF, Pfizer, AMC TV Network, Expedia.com and more. Inc Magazine named TargetCast one of the 500 fastest growing private companies five years running, and the agency was named Mediapost’s Independent Media Agency of the Year in 2010 and 2012, as well as Agency to Watch by Advertising Age in 2013. Catching the eye of entrepreneurial holding company MDC Partners, TargetCast was added to MDC’s roster of game-changing communications companies in 2012, providing the foundation of a new agency, Assembly.
A go-to advertising industry resource, Ms. Siegel is regularly quoted on the digitization of media, consumer engagement and broader advertising trends in Bloomberg Businessweek, The New York Times, Advertising Age, Adweek and Mediapost. She also regularly contributes her voice and perspective on issues facing the advertising industry at leading conferences on behalf of MIN, OMMA, MPA, AWNY, Ad:Tech, CHPA, Digital Hollywood and others. An active industry leader, Audrey served on the 4 A’s Media Leadership Committee, is a member of AWNY and its Executive Level Membership, as well as the Executive Board/Board of the NY Ad Club, and has chaired the Ad Club’s annual Media: NOW conference for over 15 years. She is a new member of the Board of Directors of Women’s Venture Fund and a 2015 recipient of its Highest Leaf Award.
