Call for Volunteers
With less than 3% of U.S. women-owned businesses ever reaching $1 million in revenues, there is plenty of room for improvement. With the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, WVF has supported women entrepreneurs in establishing and growing their businesses here in the NY metro area. Now it’s all hands on board. We need an influx of talent like yours to accelerate the growth of many more neighborhood businesses run by women entrepreneurs.
We know the barriers to success of female entrepreneurship. To break down these barriers, we need to change the mindset of many of our clients to embrace what it means to become a business leader. Learning and developing key skills can transform enterprising entrepreneurs, setting in motion a growth trajectory that will enable their businesses to flourish.

Qualifications: At least 8 years of successful work experience in a managerial position or entrepreneurial role. Excellent communication skills. Minimum time commitment: At least four hours per month for six months.
