Consumer Reporter – “Better Get Baquero”
NBC 4 New York
Emmy-award winning Lynda Baquero is NBC 4 New York’s consumer reporter. “Better Get Baquero” investigates and resolves consumer complaints. Lynda’s “Freebie Friday” segment, that airs during the 5pm newscast, gives viewers the inside scoop on free deals for events, dining, beauty and pet products. She is also the host of “Visiones,” a long-running series that focuses on the hot-button issues in the Hispanic community. “Visiones” can be seen on the Saturday edition of “Weekend Today in New York” at 6:45 am.
Lynda has reported on stories at home and abroad, from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, the Holy Land and the Salt Lake City and Atlanta Olympic Games. She is the recipient of two Emmy awards, an El Diario La Prensa’s “Mujeres Destacadas” (Outstanding Women) award and the New York University College of Arts and Sciences Alumni “Achievement Award.” She is a board member of Let’s Get Ready, a non-profit that helps students prepare for their college education.
Baquero joined NBC4 from NY1 and WCBS where she was a consumer reporter and anchor. She is a graduate of New York University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Delilah Mahl is a Managing Director, Global Relationship Management at Citigroup. She has primary responsibility for covering 18 accounts that consist of hedge and mutual funds, insurance companies and private equity funds across Equities, Credit, Foreign Exchange, Rates, Finance, and Custody Services. She is responsible for engaging senior-level clients across the C-Suite, Treasury/Finance and Product Development verticals at Citi’s clients, understanding the complexities of global asset management by driving solutions, ideas and revenues across all products.
On average, Delilah has successfully grown revenue from her client base by 15-20 % annually in the last eight years. She is ranked as one of the top Relationship Managers on Wall Street by her clients. Delilah has been with Citi for 22 years—eight years in her current role and 14 years in Institutional Equity Sales. While in Equity Sales, Delilah averaged an improvement in client rankings from 8-10 to top 1-3. She was ranked top tier internally at Citi within the Equity product heads. She is a member of the Diversity Committee and is currently working with a few buy-side clients to develop a strong and unique network to improve not only diversity of race, gender, religion but also diversity of idea generation and talent.
Prior to Citi, Delilah worked at Alex Brown, Equitable Securities and Shearson Lehman. She is a graduate of Elmira College with an English major and Business minor. She volunteers at the Morristown Soup Kitchen as well as an organization called Family Promise which provides shelter, home-cooked meals, companionship and comraderie to homeless families. Delilah lives in Chatham, NJ with her husband, two teenage children and two dogs. She also served as a deacon at her church.

Marian Nakada is Vice President of Venture Investments at Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC, Johnson & Johnson’s corporate venture group. She is based in Boston and makes pharmaceutical investments in areas of strategic interest to Johnson & Johnson. Marian started her career in research and development at Janssen R&D which is part of Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical family of companies, and she transitioned to business development before her current role in corporate venture.
Marian has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harvard College and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania and has authored 62 peer reviewed publications and 14 book chapters and reviews.
She serves on the boards of several JJDC portfolio companies and is also active with non-profits including InnerCity Weightlifting, Inc., and The New England Venture Capital Association, for which she tirelessly elevates minorities and women in the investment community as the organization’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee co-chair. Marian is also a member of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Women’s Leadership Board.
In her spare time, she participates on panels to help entrepreneurs refine their pitches, including a “Shark Tank”-style event she helped launch with the non-profit organization Women In BIO.

Helena has lived and worked in the U.S., Latin America and Asia with a strong track record of 25+ years growing businesses at major corporations. She is currently the CEO and founder of Top Trend International, providing consultancy in growth strategy, innovation, international expansion, and brand building. Helena is also a global investor, including angel investor in the USA and international, with successful exits.
Prior to that, Helena was the President of International for Rosetta Stone, the online language learning company, where she led the high double digit growth of its international business including improving online lead generation and social media plan.
Before her position at Rosetta Stone, Helena was the Global President for Oregon Scientific, a Chinese consumer electronic company, based in Hong Kong.
Helena taught at the Pratt Institute’s Master of Design Management and was an Adjunct Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
